Studio 82

2023

Reflective of essentialist brand beliefs, this typography concept was made from a clean and modern sans serif with varied customisations to emphasise the idea of movement and transition evident in the events created.

Embracing an upper-case word mark was designed to give brand authority, sending a message of strength, stability and reliability to current and potential clients. Merging fun with sophistication, the STUDIO 82 visual identity relies strongly on movement.  The logo represents an ever-changing environment, based on a variable wordmark that allows for an infinite amount of variations of the same logo.

A muted colour palette positions the otherwise varied visual identity as an elevated experience, which can be applied by STUDIO 82 across a wide array of digital and printed implementations.

In the logo variations, spacing was used as a tool to delve into the playful side of definition along with the elements of weight and scale to create a sense of movement and fun. This was coupled with a showcase of detail-led design and a subtle reference to cinematic reels to bring about a concept truly reflective of the brand and audience.
